Dr. Wilson earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating near the top of his class. Following dental school, he served as a dentist in the United States Air Force, where he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Nellis Air Force Base and was recognized as the top resident in his program.
Advanced Clinical & Implant Training
During his AEGD residency, Dr. Wilson received extensive hands-on training in oral surgery, endodontics, implantology, restorative dentistry, and other advanced areas of general dentistry. This additional training gave him experience managing more complex cases early in his career and established the foundation for his comprehensive approach to patient care.
Dr. Wilson has continued to expand his expertise through extensive postdoctoral education, including completion of the year-long Vancouver AAID Maxicourse in Implant Dentistry. This comprehensive program provided advanced education and hands-on training in implant diagnosis and treatment planning, surgical implant placement, bone grafting, and implant restoration.
His advanced education allows Dr. Wilson to approach implant dentistry from both a surgical and restorative perspective. Rather than focusing solely on placing an implant, he plans treatment around the final result—considering function, esthetics, bone, soft tissue, and the long-term restoration from the beginning.
Comprehensive, Patient-Centered Dentistry
Dr. Wilson’s broad clinical background allows him to provide care ranging from routine and emergency dentistry to dental implants, oral surgery, root canal treatment, cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges, and complex restorative treatment.
He believes excellent dentistry begins with listening. Dr. Wilson takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, explain treatment options clearly, and develop an individualized treatment plan based on their needs and goals. His goal is to provide thoughtful, predictable treatment while making patients feel comfortable and confident in their care.
Dr. Wilson proudly served for four years on active duty as a U.S. Air Force dentist, caring for service members and their families. He continues to bring the same commitment to service, attention to detail, and integrity to his patients today.
Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Outside The Office
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, cooking, exploring new cuisines, and enjoying the outdoors. He values the relationships he builds with his patients and enjoys helping individuals and families achieve healthier, more confident smiles.
